Every Meter of Altitude Counts!

The goal of the Kilimanjaro expedition Hochhinaus is to collect donations for the funding of the Rhein Valley Hospital.

In order to ensure the continued existence of the hospital in Kenya Stephan Holderegger created the Project Hochhinaus in 2004. With the slogan "Every Meter of Altitude Counts" companies of all kinds and private individuals can participate as "Altitude Sponsors" in this humanitarian ascent. Every participant carries the expenses of the expedition themselves, so that all the money can help support the hospital.

The fact that Holderegger, who has a lung transplant, can climb Kilimanjaro is incredible enough. But the 65-year-old also organizes - together with other sponsors - all kinds of crazy adventures on top of the highest mountain in Africa, such as beach volleyball, cheese tastings, soccer, zither concerts, and wrestling matches.
