Recently Kühnis Brillen and Kühnis Hörwelt celebrated their 50th anniversary with a festive event in Scoul. The employees had collected and handed over a check worth 4000 Swiss francs to the management, Erich and Peter Kühnis. The donation is intended for the Rhine Valley Hospital in Kenya. Erich Kühnis is the president of the Altstätter Verein.
