Mama Matata and her team of doctors picked up the ultrasound machine for the maternity department of Rhein Valley Hospital in Mombasa. They drove 16 hours from Nakuru to Mombasa by bus and the same distance back.
This device was sponsored by the Foundation for Medical Knowledge Transfer Dr. Walter Gysel (new device) our two doctors also passed the exam and got their diploma. Continuing education courses for the doctors are organized from Switzerland again and again. The machine is a great advantage in the maternity department for our doctors and also for the expectant mothers.
