The fungus had infected the boy’s left leg. It spread over a large area. The festering wound was very painful. In addition, stinking pus was forming.<\/p>\n

Hospital manager Violet Maghangha used an antifungal agent. The substance is effective against diseases caused by fungi. Violet Maghangha applied a gel that took away the worst of the boy’s pain.<\/p>\n

At the follow-up examination two weeks later, the wound had healed and everything was fine again.<\/p>\n
