We received some happy news this week from the maternity ward of our day clinic. Clinic director Violet Maghanga writes about the attached pictures: ‘This is our first successful delivery.’
There is great joy over the healthy boy. The 19-year-old mother had been in labour for three days. Finally, she came to the Rhine Valley Hospital Health Centre and asked us for help.
We are also delighted because so many people place their trust in us and support us with their donations. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this.
We are confident that we will soon have the money for an incubator. Then we will hopefully be able to save babies who are born prematurely and need special care.
