Dear donor When I look back on the past 25 years, I am filled with pride and gratitude. I am proud of what we have achieved and grateful to have always known that I had fellow campaigners at my side. Those who have supported me actively, ideally and financially and who have trusted in our work.

In 2000, it was a bold idea to found an association in the St.Gallen Rhine Valley to help the poorest people in Kenya. We wanted to provide the population with basic medical care and drinking water. We gave them hope, but also experienced ups and downs. We broke new ground, learned new things and oriented ourselves towards social change in Kenya. The progress in the Kenyan healthcare system prompted us to reorient ourselves and venture a project in the Matuga region near Mombasa. In three years, we have achieved remarkable things. We support the Maji Moto school run by our partner association Shilling for Shilling and have built a day clinic next to the school. The Rhein Valley Medical Center has been running well for a year now. I am looking forward to visiting our project again in January and witnessing the opening of the extension. It will house a laboratory and therapy rooms. We have achieved this in a very short space of time thanks to the excellent collaboration with the local project management, the direct exchange with employees and the qualified clinic team. In 25 years, we have never lost sight of the fact that we trust the people in Kenya to shape their own future. We are happy to support them in this.

With your valuable support, we are convinced that we can continue to be successful. The project is a matter close to the hearts of our local team and the Board of Directors. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the people of Kenya, I would like to thank you very much for your support. We promise you that our voluntary work is solely aimed at ensuring that every franc donated reaches the right people.
