In the last few days, some schoolchildren came to the Rhein-Valley Hospital Healthcenter. The rash on their arms, legs or torso is easily treatable.
The wounds on the children’s young skin were caused by a fungal infection. Clinic manager Violet Maghanga has two approaches to achieving an improvement. It treats the infection with an antifungal agent.
She also gives the children some hygiene tips. “They usually respond well to this,” says Violet Maghanga.
