Valued donor

Health and Education. The keywords describe the commitment of our association since its foundation in 2000. Health and education are pillars on which everyone builds their future.

As President from the very beginning, I am grateful and happy that the Board has been able to refocus its work in a different region of Kenya, while still focusing on the needs of the most vulnerable people in society. Full of joy, I can inform you today that the Board of Directors traveled to Kenya in October and opened the infirmary at the Maji Moto school. From now on, the 600 children and young people there will not only be taught and receive two meals a day – they will also have access to basic medical care.

A year ago, I informed you here that we would remain active in Kenya after the closure of the hospital in Kasambara-Gilgil. We have intensified our cooperation with Eddie Kroll (President of the Austrian association Shilling for Shilling) and have entered into a partnership cooperation. Both organizations now benefit from it, and more importantly, so do the local people. We can already see that the move has proven its worth. There are visible improvements around health and education of children as well as youth in Maji Moto.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the people of Kenya, I would like to thank you very much for the trust you have placed in us. My special thanks to Kerstin and Levi Amudala. They live on site and manage the project competently and transparently. We promise you, our commitment is solely to ensure that every franc donated reaches the right people.
