The board was always successful in recruiting new volunteers. The newest members are also the youngest: They are Michi Vogt and Gereon von der Linden.
New water reservoir will serve the whole community
Currently, a large water reservoir is being built on the grounds of the Maji Moto school in Shimba Hills. It is designed to ensure that clean water is available to children year-round. It is used as food, for washing and for irrigation.

The eye disease Fatama Bakari Ushanga was considered untreatable. Fortunately, this proved to be a mistake. The fact that the 35-year-old mother can now look at her children failed only because of money.
Two presidents in the classroom – a visit to Shimba Hills
During their working visit to the project in Kenya in mid-May, President Erich KĂĽhnis (Rhein-Valley Hospital) and President Eddie Kroll (Shilling for Shilling) also visited the children and young people. They are at the center of the project. Consequently, all decisions are based on their needs.

These children are no longer excluded – they finally have a uniform
The project management for the four young people each bought two new sets of a uniform. They didn't have a shilling to spend on it. Now they are no longer excluded and are allowed to learn.
