It was a special Christmas present. Four to five-year-old children were allowed to visit a swimming pool for the first time.

The board was always successful in recruiting new volunteers. The newest members are also the youngest: They are Michi Vogt and Gereon von der Linden.
Currently, a large water reservoir is being built on the grounds of the Maji Moto school in Shimba Hills. It is designed to ensure that clean water is available to children year-round. It is used as food, for washing and for irrigation.
