The school with its well facilities is a blessing for the region. Families with children are the main beneficiaries of this. Education and health are the main pillars to fight poverty. Maji Moto school is located about two hours drive from Mombasa. It currently offers about 600 young people a place to learn.earn. Many of the children are allowed to attend elementary school for the first time.
When it became clear that we, as the Board of Directors, would have to close the Rhine Valley Hospital in Kasambara-Gilgil, we worked out a strategy on how the association could use the donations optimally and in accordance with the mission in Kenya.
The board of Rhein-Valley Hospital and helpers met these days to put the donation letter in the mail.
It was not easy to accept that we had to withdraw from the Kasambara-Gilgil region. Our mission is accomplished.
In 2004, the association opened the Rhine Valley Hospital in Kenya. For many years, he ensured that people in the Kasambara-Gilgil region had basic health care and could obtain clean drinking water.
We have already completed a first project together with our funds. The school of "Shilling for Shilling" near Mombasa has built a photovoltaic system and two fresh water tanks.
